"My children participated in the promotional class. The Renshi & Shihan's were very encouraging and patient. I brought 4 children ages 8, 6, 5, and 4. They all warmed up fine and dived in. I really liked how the other students all had great leadership skills to help coach as they practiced the techniques just learned. We didn't have gi's and the ones they had available was too big but they didn't exclude my children from participating. The environment was welcoming and upbeat. There were both children and adults in different areas training. I'm considering training after my baby is born so that is a potential positive thing as I'll train while my children train. But if I didn't consider training as well I might feel more comfortable with adults and children being out of view of one another. That's just me. I didn't see anything inappropriate but I'd rather err on the side of safe vs sorry. Overall great environment, energy, and experience! Check them out! Adult training is intense BUT even watching I could see the mental relief it brings, the physical strength it adds, and the knowledge to defend yourself confidently. Great team here - children and adults!"

The 3 Stages of Our BJJ Classes
Warm Ups
01
Warm Ups include stretching, jogging, and BJJ technique. We also take this opportunity to instill discipline, leadership, and good learning skills for all our students.
Technique
02
Technique is very light and easy going. We mostly focus on position and grappling concepts. This is where we work on listening skills more than anything.
Teamwork
03
Mini's class will NOT do any live rolling. Instead we pick a game that brings the students together as a team. Sportsmanship is our main goal during this stage of class.
